Six Months!!

Bryson is now six months old! It is amazing how much he has grown and changed in those six months. Brian and I have so much fun watching him learn new things and explore everything! He is scooting/crawling all over the place. He doesn't have the full crawl down but he can move really fast with his scootin' version. He is pulling up on anything he can reach. Most often it is Mommy since I am usually sitting in the floor with him. I must say after awhile the constant tugging on my hair and clothes is very annoying. He loves baby food. We have tried peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, and pears. He loves the fruit of course. And the most recent news is that he is cutting another tooth. Not the two middle tops ones as you would expect but the right incisor. Is that what it is called? Needless we may have a vampire looking child soon. Tee Hee. Enjoy the pics below!

Bryson's New Tricks

Well Bryson certainly is getting big and trying to be as mobile as possible. He had a checkup last week with the doctor. He weighed 18 pounds 10 ounces and was 26 1/2 inches long.

I was working on school stuff and Bryson was just having fun playing in floor when I looked over and could see my little stinker trying to pull up on his toy basket. So not wanting to miss a shot I grabbed my camera and started clicking.

I could tell he was trying to pull up by the way he was moving his arms. He just couldn't get his feet under him so I moved his feet under him a bit and up he came. Pretty darn amazing. The kid won't be six months old until Friday. We are doomed!

Fun with Shaun

Cousin Shaun was around most of the weekend, so he and Bryson had some major bonding time. Shaun is great at entertaining Bryson which is great because I can get something done! Here are a few pics of the fun!

Scooterbug!

Scooterbug is my new nickname for Bryson. He is still not fully crawling but definitely making his way wherever he wants to go. Earlier this week when Brian was watching him, he discovered the fun of tearing apart one of my catalogs.

"Mommy forget all those expensive toys. Just give me magazines!"

We were playing in the floor with Bryson. Brian decided to see what Bryson would do if he held onto his feet. Bryson just showed us his arm strength with a push up. Pretty impressive! I know I can't do that!

Daddy LOVES Changing Dirty Diapers!

Daddy loves changing dirty diapers. Bryson created a doozy of one this afternoon. I informed Brian that I changed the last three and it was his turn. We usually play rock, paper, scissors but I laid down the law this time. Brian decided he needed a smell disabling device (a clothespin) to survive the diaper change. Let me tell you it was VERY funny!

What Happened This Week In Bryson's World

Bryson is doing great. He is scooting all over the place and started to get into things. He is VERY curious. When he wants to get to something he will scoot, roll, and push his way until he gets there.

Bryson was bound and determined to see what was in this corner the other night. I even turned him around to get him scooting the other way. Before I knew it he was turned around and in that corner again. Sadly the only exciting thing in the corner was dog hair but he was intrigued.

He has also found his toes! Which makes changing diapers a fun experience.


He has figured out how to roll back on one leg to sorta sit up.

We have begun computer education early with Bryson. When I came home from work the other evening I asked where Bryson was. Brian informed me that he had found my mouse for my computer and was deleting all the files from my computer. It actually wasn't as bad as all that but Bryson sure did like the cool red light and the beeping sound the computer made when he banged on the mouse.

Five Months Old!

Bryson is five months old!! At least he was on Monday. I just had my first week of school so needless to say I am a bit behind on my posts. How was my first week you might ask? EXHAUSTING!! But I do enjoy being back with the kids and teachers even though I miss Bryson bunches. Seeing his sweet smile at the end of the day is a joy though.

Look at me mom! I am sitting up. Of course moments after snapping this picture I fell over.
