Lord Help Us! Bryson Is Trying To Crawl!

Our muscle man is trying to crawl. Time to get out the baby proofing supplies. He started two weeks ago by getting up on his hands and knees for the first time. Yesterday he had advanced to the bouncing stage and is trying to propel himself forward in a frog like style. Very cute. I took video so hopefully Brian can get that uploaded to share with you all. He seems to have moving his legs in control but he just doesn't know what to do with his arms yet. I am sure full crawling is imminent. Tee Hee!

My First Haircut!

Bryson came into the world with a pretty significant amount of hair. He however has lost a great deal of it on the sides and back of his head. The hair at the very top continued growing creating a very funny "old man comb over" style. So I decided that it was time for a haircut. We headed to my wonderful stylist, Linda Marie, who gave Bryson a new short do (on top at least). Bryson was much more interested in chewing on the bright red smock that he wore and continually turning his head to see all the cool things in this new place. Needless to say it was challenging to get the hair cut but we were successful. Enjoy the pics from Bryson's first haircut!
This is Linda Marie. She cuts Mommy's hair all the time.

"Mommy what is going on here? I am not too sure about this."

"Mmm. This red thing sure is tasty!"

"Why is Mommy holding me so tight? It is like she doesn't want me to move or something!"
" All done! Now I am a stud muffin!"
"Mommy saved my hair for the baby book!"

What's Happening in the Exciting World of Bryson?

Well really not too much new. He is just as cute as ever. He is starting to be able to sit up. He uses his hands to act like a tripod and hold himself steady. He can also sit up if holding onto a hand. Yesterday he started getting up on his hands and knees with his head up. He doesn't quite have it down yet, but I am sure he will be crawling before long. He is doing great with cereal now. He will open his mouth and grab my hand to pull the spoon into his mouth. I really think he likes eating. Tee Hee. Tomorrow he will start with the sitter so I can work at school some this week. I think he will do great. It is me that I am worried about.:) Here are some pictures from the last week. Enjoy! Playing with the blanket Gran made me and as usual chewing on my fingers.

My buddy Emily came over to play. She really likes looking at her hand. We had fun playing in the floor!

This is Lu Lu. She is going to take care of me while Mommy works. Boy does she like babies!

We Have Rice Cereal Victory!

After three weeks of trying to get Bryson to actually swallow some cereal instead of just spitting it out we have VICTORY!! He is finally eating it and seems to enjoy it some! It does appear that there is more cereal on his face than he swallowed but we have made such progress.
Before picture!

Shaun decided that he needed to help feed Bryson.

Mommy is showing Bryson how to open his mouth for the spoon!

"I stole the spoon from Mommy. I thought I could handle this eating thing better than she could!"

Even though it doesn't look like it, he actually ate some of it!

After picture of cereal bowl! Look how much he ate!
